Students planning Rice-affiliated travel to any of the locations listed below must obtain approval from the Rice International Travel Advisory & Approval Committee (RITAAC).
- Faculty and staff are not required to obtain RITAAC approval for travel to these locations unless they are traveling with students.

Students planning Rice-affiliated travel to elevated-risk areas within the locations listed below must obtain approval from the Rice International Travel Advisory & Approval Committee (RITAAC).
To determine which areas require approval, select a location below to view the U.S. Department of State Travel Advisory. Travel to areas designated as Level 3 or Level 4 requires RITAAC approval.
- Approval is not required for travel to Level 1 or Level 2 areas within these locations.
- Faculty and staff are not required to obtain RITAAC approval unless they are traveling with students.
